Date: 2010/08/02
Occasion: FPSAC 2010
Place: San Francisco State University
I'm currently happy attendant of FPSAC 2010 (formal power series & algebraic combinatorics) in San Francisco. My talk on random walks in the plane has been the very first regular one, which means that I can now fully enjoy all the other ones.
The focus of my talk was on the combinatorial side, and skips all of the details of the special functions and number theory involved. It basically shows three examples of how we used combinatorics to obtain analytical results. The slides of the talk are attached.
