Homework and lecture sketches
There is two kinds of homework.
- The graded homework needs to be turned in on the due date at the end of class.
- The study problems are posted for your benefit but they are not turned in. You are strongly encouraged to have a look at these after each lecture to make sure that you are in good shape. You don't necessarily have to work through all of these problems in full detail but you should make sure that you understand the problems and know how to solve them.
To further help you study for this class, I am posting lecture sketches. These are not a substitute for your personal lecture notes or coming to class (for instance, most details and motivation are not included in the sketches). I hope that they are useful to you for revisiting the material and for preparing for exams.
